Originally written in 1918 by Marie C. Stopes, this famous book deals with "the intimate contacts of love in marriage." It was banned as obscene until its publication by Eugenics Publishing Co. in 1931, when a judge defined the book appropriately: "It pleads with seriousness, and not without some eloquence, for a better understanding by husbands of the physical and emotional side of the sex life of their wives."
The book still has the dust jacket, which is in rough shape and ripped in half. As for the book itself, it is in good condition for its age. All 170 pages are clean and crisp with a tight binding.
